The RunUO Incident - Photonamus - 08-25-2026 Here is a fun story about the time I got perma-banned in one shot for being honest ONE TIME. Let me take you back to 2006. I was doing Ultima Online emulation running a server hanging out on the runuo forums and also the orbsydia forums. I still miss that last one just saying and I hear Khaybel is back at it again today running a UO server and updating UOArchitect again. Anyhow Ryan banned me from RunUO on the spot and I had no prior issues at all had been on the forums contributing what I could for years. He did not like me calling out the growing toxicity in his forums and when I did he banned me instantly like a little baby. One of the only times I ever got tossed from a place not kidding I don't have a long history of bans on my record I have this one and a couple games I got kicked from. DFO being another one. Not because I did anything wrong there either. I opened up a portable version of photoshop with the game running one day. They saw sandbox and the auto ban kicked right in. They would hear no appeal no anything just banned automatically. That's how I get banned from places in one move from 12 years as a clean paying player to banned over an auto detected sandboxed app. They had a problem with sandboxes and cheats once and this is how they handled it. I do not support Neople or Nexon in any way shape or form today. They are the plague to me after that. So was UO emulation after Ryan banned me in a hissy fit. He lost his community around that time the guys with the skills left and he had nothing but a messy forum he could not manage and he walked and when he did he deleted our whole past all our work all our conversations he nuked it out of spite like the little bitch he is. Yes I called him a bitch what else do I say about the guy? He acted like one LOL. I hope he sees this not kidding. Would make my day to hear him cry about it. But I digress the unjust bans have hit me a couple times over the decades. From ego maniacs to automation. None of it is good man. This is what sets us back as people. When we have to participate in places that are hostile to reality this is what we deal with. You can't tell me it is healthy for a community to be managed by a guy with a giant ego who gets hurt by the truth and you can't defend auto bans they make no logical sense. Letting a machine handle the job is LAZY. For the record fellas we do NOT ban people for being honest. Hell we don't even ban you for holding a pretty wildly unpopular stance on things. You are free to think and speak how you do unless it causes some kind of major problem is outright illegal or just disruptive completely to our site/forums you can say it here and no one is going to come at you with a ban hammer today. I don't do this to people it is wrong and always will be. You are also free to examine that wild custom winXP I had going on and the insane text on my browser and any other crazy old school oddities you can spot. My world has been wild for a while LOL. I have been building machines and running servers since before that time. This is only my most recent build you are on now
